My Top Tips On How To Plan Your Destination Engagement Shoot

In today’s blog post, I want to share some top tips for planning your destination engagement shoot and share some pretty inspiration from a session on the gorgeous island of Santorini, Greece, from my recent visit to an incredible workshop there, hosted by Rebecca Carpenter. Santorini is the most beautiful island with pure white buildings, pretty and vibrant flowers and cobbled streets, full of charm and beauty. Oh, and let’s not forget to mention the gorgeous landscapes and backdrops of the sea everywhere you look. It really is a destination wedding photographers dream!

I love nothing more than spending time with my clients and capturing beautiful memories, but what a joy it is to photograph couples in such beautiful locations. As I’m sure you know, I love everything about destination weddings, travelling and exploring new places. One of my favourite aspects being the beautiful backdrops, incredible sunsets and different lighting opportunities.
As a destination wedding photographer, I feel very lucky to have travelled to lots of new places, many of which have been on my bucket list for years. So far, my wedding photography has taken me to Santorini, Cyprus, Italy, Bali, Jamaica, Barbados and many more dreamy locations for which I’m extremely grateful to my couples for entrusting me and bringing me along to capture their special day.
